Its abundant, old-fashioned cup-shaped blossoms are huge 4 in. Opening from light green buds and developing into creamy white then a delicate light pink color shaded with carmine pink, this climbing and shrub rose-tree is probably one of the most beautiful romantic roses ever created. Blooming from late spring to late summer over a glossy, dark green foliage, it is heat tolerant. Moderately fragrant, this strong climber is an excellent repeat bloomer.

Pierre is in his first year right now, and he is growing so super slow!!! I knew what I was getting into with this guy, but I'm willing to wait for those gorgeous blooms and long canes. Apparently it takes years before you get a gorgeous full bloom climber. Has anyone been successful with just cutting out affected branches or must I dispose of it? I love it so much - kills me to kill it.
